What does the Geo-restriction Error mean?

Are you or your users seeing a geo-restriction error when trying to log in? This article will walk you through what this means and what to do.

Screenshot 2024-05-15 at 12.45.21This error usually shows when the system detects that the same Perlego account has been used in two different countries at the same time. This is also often triggered when using a VPN.

All you have to do is log out of Perlego on all devices, before logging into your account again. It may take up to 2 hours to ‘reset’.

If this error is triggered because an admin account has been shared across multiple users, remember that you can create multiple logins to the same admin portal and prevent this issue from happening.
