Security is important to us and so is your confidence in our library. That’s why we have added this extra security feature to help verify and protect your account.
🗒️ Please note: This step is only required the first time you log in to Perlego on a new device. It will reset if you use a VPN, clear cache and cookies, or use a private browser.
How it works
1. Login
When you log in, a prompt will trigger a confirmation code to be sent to your email for added security.
2. Check you inbox
Locate the confirmation code sent from Perlego in your email inbox.
3. Enter confirmation code
Return to the Perlego website and input the code to complete your secure login.
Can’t find the confirmation code?
Here are some troubleshooting tips:
- Check your spam or promotional folders, as the code may have been misfiled.
- Search your inbox for “Perlego” or “Verify new device login” to locate the email.
- Add noreply@perlego.com to your safe senders list, then request a new code.
- Ensure your inbox isn’t full, as this can prevent new emails.
- If Perlego emails were marked as spam previously, contact your email provider to unblock them.
Code is invalid or has expired?
The confirmation code expires 10 minutes after delivery - you must stay in the same login session for it to work. If you leave and return, a new code will be sent, and any previous codes will expire.
Try again and refresh your inbox after a minute to make sure you’re using the latest code.
Can't access your email inbox?
To verify your email address in the subscription manager and ensure you’re using the correct email associated with your institution, please reach out to your Account Manager.

- Organisation name
- Name on account
- Email currently linked to your account
