Can users copy books on Perlego?

Copying text

Users can copy up to 10% of any book on Perlego using our Copy text feature as described below.

1. Select the text you would like to copy
2. Click on the 'Copy text' icon from the panel that appears below
3. You can then past the text onto a document outside of Perlego
   1. Keyboard shortcuts:
      1. MAC: CMD + V
      2. PC: CTRL + V

To prevent plagiarism and abide by copyright laws, users can only copy and paste up to 10% of each book. We will inform users once they have reached this limit. Please note that users won't be able to copy and paste any more text from the book once they've reached the limit and they cannot remove any previous copies. We advise users to be mindful about which pieces of text they need to copy.

Our Copy feature is available on laptop or desktop browsers only at the moment. Rest assured we are working on making this available on mobile too.

Copying notes

Users can copy any note they have made in 3 simple steps:

1. Click on Notes & highlights in the left-hand navigation panel
2. Select the ... ellipses next to the note
3. Click 'Copy note', like in the image below

From there the note will be copied for users to paste wherever they need.
